Hire any Plus 5 IBEW Electrical Contractor listed below and receive a free 5 year guarantee in writing!

(Notice: The proper paperwork must be completed and returned to us for the guarantee to be active.  It's simple and it's easy.

Please ask your contractor about the Plus 5 program to insure you are registered with us).

Get it right the first time. The +5 Homeowners Electrical Protection Plan is a no-cost program that covers a home's entire electrical system. Simply put, it's like an extended warranty on the +5 Electrical Contractor's workmanship and installation. Quality craftsmanship... the +5 guarantee.

The guarantee covers electrical remodels, re-wiring. service upgrades and the entire electrical system for new homes. You have the right to demand your builder utilize a qualified and skilled Plus 5 electrical contractor for your new home or remodeling project.

Plus 5 residential electricians must complete an intensive three year apprenticeship program through the Terre Haute JATC (Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee) that consists of on-the-job training under the guidance of a skilled Residential Wireman AND classroom training in electrical theory, the electrical code, OSHA standards, and safe and proper installation techniques. The apprenticeship training is registered with the Department of Labor's Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training.

Ask the other contractors to prove the qualifications and training background of their electricians! You may be surprised. We care about quality and safety. Why shouldn't you?

We care about our industry, our future, and our customers. That's why we care about our training, insuring the work is done safely and giving our customers the best value!

Very few counties and cities have legal requirements within our jurisdiction that require electricians to meet minimum training and skill level requirements in their trade. Many municipalities only require that a person sign-off and take the liability on a completed job without any verification of the qualifications and skill levels of those doing the actual electrical work installations.

Call and ask your local building department what requirements are necessary for those working on your residence.

Once again, you may be surprised. In Indiana, there is no state electrical licensing requirement. However, there is a licensing requirement for plumbers, people who cut your hair and day care facilities.

Do not make any assumptions and don't take a chance. Call us and we will assist you and answer any questions.

See www.plus5.org and Plus 5 Local for more information. Look below to see a list of local contractors. Make sure to ask for the Plus 5 guarantee.

Or call us directly toll free at 1-877-600-FIVE (3483) for more details.
